Week 3 of writing essays for med school supplements! 8 sent, aiming for 5 more before Thursday so I can leave for Toronto and enjoy the weekend :)

After that, still more to do, but I will power through them!

The prisoner defiantly stares down Heinrich Himmler, Hitler’s right-hand-man, who was responsible for the Holocaust. Greasley’s confrontation with Himmler took place during an inspection of the camp he was confined to. The inmates were ordered to remain seated, but Greasley refused. Horace Greasley also escaped the death camp, but sneaked back in to rescue a German woman whom he had fallen in love with.

this is amazing

Wait it gets better, he escaped from the camp 200 times to meet with the woman he was in love with and returned after every time because there was no other place to go to. He also wrote an autobiography omfg this dude is seriously awesome

#bloggerbehindtheblog
These are my favorite pictures that describe me!

1. Smiley Katie - nothing better
2. April 13th 2014 - crossing the finish line at my first half marathon! I can’t even describe how amazing it was.
3. Me & Trevor. I love this man. We have been through so much and he has helped me love myself and grow into the person I am today.
4. If you haven’t seen them yet, these are my babies! Rascal is an old Toy poodle (he just turned 13) and he was my very first dog. Sissy, behind him, is a spunky cockapoo who has brought so much happiness to our family. She’s my shadow and we do most everything together.
4. My baby. I love photography and I am so beyond amazed at how much I’ve learned in the few short months I’ve owned this Nikon. Maybe I’ll share some of my projects on here some time. :)
5. On our 7th anniversary last month Trevor proposed. Best day of my life. 6. My favorite coffee cup. It was a gift from a really close family friend and of course it wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t have coffee (or tea) in it. Coffee - my drug [after running of course].
7. Studying and spending time in coffee shops is much of my life outside of work, seeing Trev, and running. I’m almost done with my pre-reqs and super close to entering the nursing program.

I hope you guys liked these. :D
